GENERAL
First unveiled at Auto Shanghai this past spring, the four-door Gran Turismo Audi e-tron® Sportback concept is a power-packed electric in the guise of a coupe. Digitally controlled Matrix LED lighting at the front and rear create an innovation that’s visible by both day and night, setting a new standard of design. Combining classic Audi elements with forward-looking details leads to an electrifying design. Audi will launch a second battery-powered model named e-tron Sportback about a year after the Quattro makes its debut and a third model we don’t know much about yet before 2020.

The enormous torque of the electric motor can be converted and transferred to the road for an impressive driving experience, perfect for everyday life and beyond.

Below the daytime running lights are two large-area light fields with 250 LEDs each, offering an array of possibilities for engaging graphics or communicative signs, even while on the move.

An innovative liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery is positioned between the axles below the passenger compartment, creating a low center of gravity for outstanding driving dynamics and a sporty feel.

Large 23-inch wheels in a technical 6-spoke design highlight the confident presence and aesthetics of the e-tron® Sportback concept.
