The Chevrolet Bolt (Opel Ampera-e in Europe) is a front-motor, five-door all-electric subcompact hatchback marketed by Chevrolet; developed and manufactured in partnership with LG Corporation. U.S. sales began in California in December 2016, with nationwide US and Canadian release in 2017.
Did you know the average daily commute is about 40 miles round trip? With an EPA-estimated 238 miles of range on a single charge, you can get through the day — perhaps even three or four days — without needing to plug in. Bolt EV is revolutionizing the way you drive electric cars. Go from your everyday route to extracurricular activities without missing a beat. You can even take a road trip.
The great thing about Bolt EV is you can top off your battery as much or as little as you like. Without thinking, plugging in could become a part of your daily routine. Plus, with Location-Based Charging, you can program Bolt EV to charge at home during off-peak electricity rates or to begin charging immediately when plugging-in away from home.
Sculpted bodysides and strong wheel arches offer a solid, robust presence on the road. Thanks to a thermal management system the battery does not require air-cooling and the underbody can be enclosed to streamline airflow and improve aerodynamics.
The creative design offers an open and spacious feel for exceptional shoulder room, head room and leg room. Multipurpose front console delivers a functional, usable space with sliding armrest and massive storage bins. Also offers generously sized cup holders and available wireless charging behind the shifter.
Bolt EV offers the technology available to help you make your driving safe, including a number of available ultrasonic-, radar- and camera-based systems for potential collision prevention.
