About Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 is an all-electric four-door sedan manufactured and sold by Tesla, Inc. As of today it's the most affordable car in the Tesla model range. The production of the Model 3 began in mid-2017 and right now Tesla is ramping it up. The Tesla Model 3 is the first vehicle built on Tesla’s third-generation platform. It aims to reduce the entry price for electric vehicles while not making any compromise on range and performance.
SAFETY
Safety is the most important part of the overall Model 3 design. The metal structure is a combination of aluminum and steel, for maximum strength in every area. In a roof-crush test, Model 3 resisted four times its own mass, even with an all-glass roof: that’s the same weight as two full-grown African elephants.
PERFOMANCE
Tesla’s all-electric powertrain delivers unparalleled performance in all weather conditions — with dual motor all-wheel drive, instant traction and torque control and ludicrous acceleration.
RANGE
Model 3 can get you anywhere you want to go — with industry-leading range and convenient charging options, all over the world. Model 3 charges up to 80% in 40 minutes on a Tesla Supercharger.
AUTOPILOT
Autopilot advanced safety and convenience features are designed to assist you with the most burdensome parts of driving. Model 3 comes standard with advanced hardware capable of providing Enhanced Autopilot features today, and full self-driving capabilities in the future.
INTERIOR
The inside of the Model 3 is unlike any other car. You can use your smartphone as a key, and access all driver controls in the central 15-inch touchscreen. The all-glass roof extends from front to back, creating a sense of openness from every seat.
OVER-THE-AIR UPDATES
Model 3 is designed to improve over time with regular software updates, introducing new features, functionality, and performance.
EXTERIOR
For all of its futuristic ambitions, the Model 3 is a relatively conventional-looking four-door sedan. It incorporates many design elements from the more expensive Model S, making it immediately recognizable as a Tesla, but it’s significantly taller and less sporty looking than its low-slung, sleek-sedan sibling.
